Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multicultural family. Born within South London. Madekwe is English but her father was Nigerian. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained an acting BA. During her time at the school, she was a part-time actor in a number of stage productions such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Over the past few years Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. Her success led her to play Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in six episodes Trexx & Flipside playing the character of Ollie. In 2008, she got Bambi's part on the ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her debut in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama program ran in the US on The CW for only two episodes, before it was ended. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes of the series' initial two seasons as an regular. In May of 2013, it was announced that announcement was made that she would leave the show after her guest appearance on the first episode of the series' third season. Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for the Gemini Award, comes from an extensive Hamilton family. Her parents Roy and Patty and her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball during summers as well as hockey in winter. Ashley was never a walker, she did dance, so when she was 2 1/2 years old she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. This was the beginning of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley was a competitive dancer throughout the various categories until the time she graduated from high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, jazz, tap and pointe, as well as acrobatics. She won the top soloist awards at all of the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
